Real stores, real counts
Retail digital signage case studies
Six retail projects with the store counts, the hardware and what went wrong. Each one links to the full write-up on crowntv-us.com. We left out clients we've installed for but haven't documented in detail; a logo without the story isn't much use to you.

L'Occitane en Provence
- 150+ boutiques
- US and Canada
- On CrownTV since 2019
One content platform for the whole North American footprint, with control split between IT, central marketing and store managers. Flagships, including Aventura Mall, got 3×3 video walls. Standard boutiques got 2×2 walls. Mall outlets got single portrait or landscape screens. Every store pairs a window-facing screen with a cash-wrap or feature-wall screen.
What was hard: the permission model. Three groups needed to work in the same system without stepping on each other. We specified the three tiers before the first install, and six months in there hadn't been a single permission-related support ticket. What we'd change: build the brand team's content templates before store one, not during the rollout.
"We've had an excellent and friendly experience working with CrownTV and are very happy with the outcome."
Senior Director, L'Occitane en Provence

Janie and Jack
- 115+ US stores + London
- Up to 6 screens per store
- Samsung OM55B + QM55C
Every store needed to change creative at the same moment. Each store got up to six 55-inch screens: two Samsung OM55B high-brightness panels on floor stands in the windows and four QM55C 4K panels inside on ceiling brackets and recessed wall mounts. One CrownTV media player drives all six through an HDMI splitter, so every screen shows an identical 4K signal.
What was hard: mall window depths varied, and the first wave needed field adjustments to the stands. We settled on three standard depths that covered every window in the chain, and install time dropped from there. The London flagship runs the same kit and the same Dashboard as the US stores.

Victoria's Secret & PINK, 640 Fifth Avenue
- 15 displays
- QM98 + QM85C
- 24,000 sq ft, two floors
A 24,000 square foot flagship with a main retail floor and an upstairs event space. We installed 15 Samsung commercial displays, 98-inch QM98 and 85-inch QM85C, synchronized in five clusters of three. Portrait screens frame the curved bar and VIP seating upstairs. Architecture ran through MG2, the experiential program through The Lionesque Group.
What was hard: the event floor had to switch between a live feed and the brand loop without anyone climbing a ladder. We scoped permissions so the events team switches the bar cluster from a tablet. Joining the architects before construction meant power and mounts were drawn in, which saved an estimated two weeks. All 15 screens were live on opening day.

LeSportsac, SoHo flagship
- 32 Greene Street
- 98" QM98C + two OM55B
- 0 hours of downtime
Two Samsung OM55B high-brightness panels on a cable-suspension mount in the street windows, and one 98-inch QM98C anchoring the sales floor. Our crew built custom wood framing around the 98, cut and hand-painted on site in the brand's white, so it reads as part of the wall.
What was hard: a flagship can't close. Power runs, oversize mount, framing, calibration and software activation all happened in a single after-hours session, and the store opened the next morning.
"CrownTV treated our flagship like an experience, not a hardware install."
Brand Design Director, LeSportsac

CBD Kratom
- 55+ stores
- Under 10 days, whole fleet
- St. Louis HQ, 14 local stores
The brief was a window screen readable from across the street in direct sun, in every store, fast. We used one portrait Samsung OM55B per storefront, cable-mounted with a custom back cover, with the mount referencing the storefront millwork rather than the glass.
What was hard: speed without site surveys. Because the kit was identical everywhere and flexed across mall, strip and street storefronts, we skipped pre-install surveys and finished all 55+ stores in under 10 days. We'd ship the mount pre-assembled from day one next time.

Herman Miller, Park Avenue
- 75" QM75C, portrait
- Consultation to live: 2 weeks
- Cosm chair launch
One screen, one window, one launch. A 75-inch Samsung QM75C in portrait, suspended on thin cables in front of the red Cosm campaign backdrop, with signal and power routed through the suspension so no wall hardware shows.
What was hard: the calendar. Day 1 consultation, day 4 spec locked, day 7 hardware on our dock, day 10 crew on site, day 14 live. We'd mock up the mount in our shop first next time, which would have saved half a day on site.

Patterns across these projects
Every chain here standardized its hardware before store one. Every window used a high-brightness Samsung OM-series panel. And every flagship got its power and mounting planned with the architect or millworker, not after. If you're planning something similar, the multi-store playbook and pricing page are the next two reads.
