Flagship and boutique video walls
Retail video walls for flagships and boutiques
The video wall is the screen a mall shopper sees from 40 feet away. We've built 3×3 walls in L'Occitane flagships including Aventura Mall, 2×2 walls across their standard boutiques, and the 15-display program at Victoria's Secret on Fifth Avenue.

Video wall layouts and what they cost
| Layout | Panels | All-in range | Where we use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2×2 | Four 55" panels | $16,000 to $17,200 | L'Occitane standard boutiques, brand wall behind the counter |
| 3×3 | Nine panels | $36,000 to $38,700 | L'Occitane flagships, including Aventura Mall |
| Hybrid flagship | 98" + 85" panels, grouped | $40,000 to $120,000 | Victoria's Secret & PINK, 640 Fifth Avenue |
| Single large panel | One 98" QM98C | $9,950 | LeSportsac SoHo, where one big screen beat a wall |
Ranges from CrownTV's published pricing. Every wall is quoted per project because structure and content change the number.
Do you actually need a wall?
Sometimes not. A single 98-inch QM98C is $9,950 installed, has no seams, and covers a lot of brand walls that people assume need a 2×2. LeSportsac's flagship floor runs one 98-inch display framed in custom millwork, and it reads as a gallery piece, not a TV.
Go to a wall when the space is wider than a 98-inch can fill, or when the wall has to work at mall-corridor distance. Some L'Occitane entrances run a portrait 2×2 instead of one portrait panel, shown below, so the screen holds its own against the full height of the storefront.
Grouped walls on Fifth Avenue
The Victoria's Secret and PINK flagship at 640 Fifth Avenue is 24,000 square feet over two floors. We installed 15 Samsung displays, QM98 and QM85C, in five clusters of three. The 98s carry the long sightlines from the entrance, the 85s sit where guests are seated, and portrait screens frame the curved bar upstairs. Architecture ran through MG2 and the experiential program through The Lionesque Group.
Grouping matters. Fifteen screens as one loop is a video wall. Five clusters lets the events team switch the bar cluster to a live feed while the main floor keeps the campaign. All 15 were live on opening day.

What goes into a wall quote
Panels are the obvious line. The ones that move the price are the mount (a 3×3 of 55-inch panels is about 12 feet wide and needs proper blocking behind the drywall), the processing that splits one image across nine panels, and content cut for the wall's real aspect ratio. A 2×2 is 16:9. A 3×3 is also 16:9. A 3×2 isn't, and creative built for a TV will stretch.
Anything over about 110 inches that can't show a single seam belongs on direct-view LED, which our sister site leddisplaysystem.com prices out. For store screens that aren't walls, go back to in-store displays or the per-screen price list.
Common questions
Retail video wall questions
How much does a retail video wall cost?
A 2×2 wall built from four 55-inch panels runs about $16,000 to $17,200 all-in. A 3×3 from nine panels runs $36,000 to $38,700. Hybrid flagship builds that mix 98-inch and 85-inch panels, like the Fifth Avenue spec, run $40,000 to $120,000 depending on layout, structure and content scope.
Should a retail store use an LED wall or an LCD video wall?
For most stores an LCD video wall is the better buy, because a 2×2 of 55-inch panels gives a 110-inch picture for about $16,000 to $17,200 installed, while direct-view LED only makes sense above roughly 110 to 130 inches or where no seam can show. LED is priced per square foot, from about $500 at coarse pitch to $4,000+ at fine pitch installed, so a flagship LED wall quickly runs into six figures. Our sister site leddisplaysystem.com prices LED walls by size and viewing distance.
2×2 or 3×3 for a boutique?
2×2 for a standard boutique brand wall, 3×3 for a flagship hero position. That's exactly how L'Occitane splits it: 3×3 in flagships like Aventura Mall, 2×2 in standard boutiques.
Will the bezels between panels show?
Yes, a little. Video-wall panels have thin bezels, but a seam is still visible up close. If the wall is bigger than about 110 inches and must have no seams at all, that's direct-view LED territory, which costs far more per square foot.
Can one wall show different content in different zones?
Yes. At Victoria's Secret Fifth Avenue the 15 displays are grouped in five clusters of three. Each cluster runs its own story, and the upstairs event cluster switches to a live feed during launches without touching the rest.
How long does a video wall install take?
We set the schedule on the scope call, and boutique walls are normally done outside store hours. Flagship walls take longer because power, blocking and mounts need to be in the architect's drawings first. On Fifth Avenue, drawing those in before construction saved an estimated two weeks.
