Retail digital signage installer
Why retailers pick CrownTV
Most retail signage projects stall in the gaps between vendors: the software company says it's the screen, the installer says it's the network, the screen maker says call the installer. We own all four pieces, so there's one phone number when a window goes dark on a Saturday.

CrownTV vs the other two ways to do retail signage
| Compared | Software-only vendor | AV integrator | CrownTV |
|---|---|---|---|
| Screens | You buy them | Spec'd per project | Samsung commercial, as an authorized reseller |
| Install | You find a local tech per store | Their crew, usually regional | Our insured crews, all 50 states |
| Software | Their CMS | Often resold from a third party | CrownTV Dashboard, ours |
| Price shape | Monthly per screen | Per project, bespoke | Per screen, all-in, from $2,950 |
| When a screen dies | Ticket to support, you swap it | Service call | Monitoring flags it; player swapped in 48 hours |
| Best for | Chains with screens and IT staff already | One-off custom builds with heavy AV | Chains and flagships that want one vendor |
Being fair: if you already own commercial screens and have IT staff who'll install, a software-only plan is a reasonable choice. Ours is $20 per screen per month.
What "one contract" means in practice
On Janie and Jack's rollout, the window stands, the four interior mounts, the media player, the HDMI splitter and the Dashboard all came from us. When the first wave showed that mall window depths varied, we changed the stand spec ourselves. Nobody had to get three vendors on a call.
On L'Occitane, real-time monitoring of every panel and player in 150+ stores reports into our operations team. A black screen in a flagship at 9am on a Saturday is something we want to know about before the store manager does.
On Fifth Avenue, we sat in MG2's architectural reviews so all 15 display locations had power and signal designed in, not bolted on.

Common questions
Questions about CrownTV
Is CrownTV a software company or an installer?
Both. We sell Samsung commercial displays as an authorized reseller, make our own media player, run the CrownTV Dashboard software and send our own insured crews. A retail client gets one contract for all four.
When should a retailer pick a software-only vendor instead?
If you already have commercial screens on the wall, an in-house IT team that will install and swap players, and you just need a CMS. In that case our software-only plan at $20 per screen per month competes, but so do plenty of others, and you should shop it.
When is a traditional AV integrator the better call?
For a one-off custom build with heavy audio, control systems or broadcast work, like a stage or a boardroom. For 20 stores that need the same screens, mounts and content schedule, an integrator's per-project model usually costs more and moves slower.
What retail digital signage software do you use?
We run the CrownTV Dashboard, our own browser-based software, which schedules campaigns by store, screen and time of day, splits control between IT, central marketing and store managers and shows live device status, and it's included for year one, then $20 per screen per month. L'Occitane runs three permission tiers on it across 150+ boutiques. It also runs on commercial screens you already own, which is how a chain can start with software only and replace screens as they fail.
Where is CrownTV based?
433 Broadway, Unit 220, in SoHo, New York, with offices in Miami Beach and on California's Central Coast. Install crews cover all 50 states.
Is CrownTV a certified WBE?
Yes. Crown Heights Communication, Inc. is certified as a Women-Owned Business Enterprise by New York State (File ID 75148, valid through May 11, 2031) and New York City (certificate MWCERT2026-549, valid through May 31, 2031).
